— Stayed "home" and processed images

James' Spaghetti Sauce

  • 1 lb 10 oz jar of Ragu Chunky Tomato, Garlic & Onion spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 cup cooked ground beef
  • 1 tbs dried chopped onions
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • 1 tsp dry basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry sage
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme
  • dash of salt
  • dash of cayenne pepper
Add all ingredients, stir, and simmer for at least an hour, stirring occasionally.

Note that the spice quantities are estimates as I have never actually measured them.
We got up around our usual time and decided to stay in the RV this morning. I had my usual breakfast then downselected the images from last night some more in Capture One (C1) then processed five images for the blog. Then I started to work up a blog entry.

I had lunch around 12:10 and talked w/J about near-term travel plans. I finished the blog entry, and it was raining by 1:40. I processed images through Capture One (C1) to assign final file names and to convert the RAW files to TIFFs. I made a batch of spaghetti sauce around 2:45, and added a dash of cayenne pepper for the first time. I processed more images through Capture One (C1) to assign final file names and to convert the RAW files to TIFFs. I did some file management to store and backup the images I had just processed.

We had dinner around 6:05 of spaghetti with my new sauce and Texas Toast, and I must say the sauce was the best I've ever made it! J really enjoyed it too. The glass of Charles Shaw Merlot went well with the meal too — mmm.

After dinner, I did some more file management and processed more images through Capture One (C1) to assign final file names and to convert the RAW files to TIFFs. Then we watched When Harry Met Sally on DVD starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. It was a movie that we had each seen before, and it was great to watch it again.
